When it is over with someone who made your heartbeat differently for the first time in your life, it’s the hardest transition. Of course it’s painful, miserable, draining, an emotional pendulum constantly, and sometimes not. You want to wake up to it being a dream, but dreams don’t last that long and they change every time you go to sleep and wake up.
It sucks when your hopes are high like never before, and you meet someone who fits you so perfectly but there are signs that they’re not. You are so smitten and swept off your feet, so you push the flags and signs out of the way. Especially when that person is crafty at making you doubt your alarming voice inside you. Yet, you still try to pull away because your spirit keeps warning you that something is not right, and then he or she senses it, so they magnetize closer to you. They do this by using their careful practiced strategies, schema and manipulation to keep you.
If any of this sounds like what you are experiencing in the beginning of a relationship, my dear please run. Because repairing yourself when it’s over can vary on your emotional, spiritual and mental health.
If you are already in the situation, pray and encourage yourself, have faith and keep hope. Know that you deserve better. Love is not manipulation, or being 2nd or 3rd best, you are number 1!
Stay tuned for Part II…
What is love? My number 1 book describes it:
‘Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.’ I Corinthians 13:4-7 https://www.bible.com/bible/114/1CO.13.NKJV
